Operating from our Arctic Base Camp in Northern Sweden between late February and early April this immersive program offers both structured Arctic Training Courses and independent base camp stays for adventurers seeking a safer, supported environment to refine their skills or explore on their own.
Course Overview
Led by an instructor with over 40 years of Arctic living and travel experience, this intensive course introduces participants to the essential skills of Polar and cold-weather expedition travel, including:
Arctic clothing systems and layering strategies
Use and maintenance of cold-weather gear
Camp setup and safety protocols on ice and snow
Basic snowmobile operation and field maintenance
Cold-climate first aid and risk management
Meal preparation and expedition food logistics
Navigation, route planning, and group travel techniques

Our Arctic Base Camp serves as a central hub for all training activities. From here, participants can choose:
Full Polar Training Course – A structured, multi-day introduction to polar travel and survival.
Day Training Sessions – Focused instruction on specific skills such as navigation, cold-weather campcraft, or snowmobile handling.
Independent Base Camp Access – Experienced adventurers can use our facilities as a secure base for personal expeditions, with the added safety of on-site support and emergency backup.
